Lelde McCoy – Managing Director With nearly 30 years of experience in public relations, Lelde established The Reputation Group in early 2004. Previously Lelde was the Deputy Chairman of the Porter Novelli Group in Australia. Lelde has handled public relations programs for major companies, working closely with CEOs and senior management to position their organisations to various constituencies. She also has a long history in social marketing, having worked on some of Australia’s highest profile public information and education campaigns. With more than 20 professional awards for her work, Lelde writes and speaks frequently on public relations trends, with reputation management being of special interest. |
A Fellow and former National President of the Public Relations Institute of Australia, Lelde is also the founder of its successful Women in PR Forum. Currently she chairs the Advisory Committee for RMIT University’s Masters of Communications degree. Lelde is a commerce graduate from the University of Melbourne and has a journalism degree from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology University. She also has studied for a Masters of Communications at the Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University in New York State. In her spare time she is a passionate supporter of the Melbourne Football Club and loves reading, cooking and exploring Australia. |
